Dans le livre le héros mange des briques et devient très fort. J'ai donc pensé au goût que pouvaient bien avoir les briques… ? Un mur est à démanteler : à l’intérieur des briques, qui sont en fait des boîtes, se trouvent des feuilletés aux olives, des tomates au caramel et au sésame… Les briques se font aussi liquide pour faire passer tout ça !
I was asked to illustrate in a tasty way, the book of the great drawer Vincent Godeau, Avec quelques briques. In his book, the caracter eats bricks and becomes stronger and stronger... As I was reading it, I wondered the taste those bricks could have. I finally builted a paper brick wall in wich different recipies would be. People would share the food inside of every bricks, pass it to eachother, communicate to strangers. Brick that is often a symbol of seperation, is here the contrary one !
